The third quarter of 2025 saw interesting trends for fast food and fast casual restaurant apps on the Android platform in Finland. Here's a closer look at the top five apps based on their downloads and active user engagement, with data sourced from Sensor Tower.

McDonald's showed a decline in weekly downloads, starting from around 2.8K at the beginning of July, dropping to 2.1K by the end of September. The app maintained a stable base of weekly active users, although there was a gradual decrease from 80.5K to about 65K over the quarter.

Hesburger had a consistent download pattern, averaging around 2K weekly downloads. However, the app experienced fluctuations in active users, peaking at 85K in early August before dropping to approximately 68K by the end of September.

Burger King Finland experienced a notable spike in downloads mid-September, reaching 2.8K, with the rest of the quarter averaging around 1.7K. Active users saw an increase, rising from 33K to nearly 37K by the end of the quarter.

Subway® had a downward trend in downloads from 2.5K at the start of the quarter to about 1.2K by the end. Active users also saw a decrease from 31K to 24K, indicating a decline in engagement over the period.

Pizza Hut Suomi was a standout with a significant increase in downloads, starting at just 32 and soaring to over 2.1K by early September. This growth in downloads reflects a growing interest in the app within Finland.
